On Monday (January 29th), I had the privilege of reading both a story book and poetry to the Storytime gang at the Cupertino Library. In honor of the holiday approaching this Friday, our theme was Groundhog Day! I had a blast working with Elizabeth, one of the children’s librarians, and all of the amazing little people who attended the event. I especially loved asking our little groundhogs what their weather predictions were for Cupertino. I’m happy to report that with only one or two exceptions, the Cupertino Groundhogs predict and early spring! I’m definitely looking forward to bringing poetry to Storytime again!
Here are some photos from the event, and below you can read one of the Groundhog Day poems we decorated and enjoyed!
